Founder Hector Proenza began his automotive career in 1999 and worked his way into sales management at Century Kia, where he spent 17 years learning the business and serving customers throughout Tampa.
In 2016, he opened West Bay Motors to work independently, spend more time with his family, and treat customers according to his own values. Today, we combine a family-run dealership and collision repair operation under one roof.

After graduating from the UCF College of Business, Hector’s son Emilio joined West Bay Motors full-time in 2026. Together, we are building a stronger, more modern business while preserving the honesty, integrity, and personal service customers have trusted for years.
